Company Background
Our current CEO and Chairman, Edmund Ashburner, founded the Java Bear organization in early 2004,
initially as a
"sandbox" business to learn the ropes of Entrepreneurship. The sole
proprietorship employed our first business model of buying collectible items
locally and selling them in an international marketplace. The business
took off from there, and was incorporated in March of 2005. Today, we encompass
many more business models, and serve a mix of both buyers and sellers,
facilitating all types of internet commerce.

News
April 2008, Java Bear Corporation announces plans to leave San Francisco.
Following two years of sustained growth, the Java Bear Corporation announced
plans to expand and relocate. According to CEO, Edmund Ashburner, "This relocation is
critical to achieving our projected growth." Having reached the limits of the current
facility, the time time has come to look for a new location that has the growth
potential to sustain the next phase of our expansion. New locations being
